The pilot testing of the “FAIR” application continues

As part of the implementation of the "FAIR" Project, the second of the tablets, which will be used in the detention facilities by the police and detainees, was handed over personally to Tihomir Yanakiev - Mayor of Sozopol Municipality.

The FAIR project targets both suspected or accused of crime and police authorities, with the main goal of the project being to strengthen existing guarantees of a fair trial by raising the awareness of the interested parties.

Within the project, a web-based and mobile application "FAIR", was created, which will be provided to detainees, giving them the opportunity to get to know their rights in a timely manner. On the other hand, the application will also help the detention officers, allowing them to verify the actions required, concerning the detention of persons.
